A 23-year-old youth from NGGO Colony, Ashokapuram, died in a road accident after losing control of his motorcycle and falling off the road while travelling near Vattamalai Palayam on Thudiyalur Road in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: A 23-year-old motorcyclist died in a road accident near Vattamalai Palayam on Thudiyalur Road in Coimbatore on July 6.
According to police, Gowri Shankar (23), a resident of NGGO Colony, Ashokapuram, lost control of his motorcycle, fell off the road, and sustained severe head injuries.
He was rushed to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
The case is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Wing (West).
