Kanimozhi Santhosh Takes Oath as MLA for Kavundampalayam Constituency

TVK candidate Kanimozhi Santhosh officially took oath as MLA for Kavundampalayam constituency in Coimbatore district during the first session of Tamil Nadu's 17th Legislative Assembly on May 11. Newly elected members are taking their oaths in sequence.


Coimbatore: The first session of Tamil Nadu's 17th Legislative Assembly commenced this morning (May 11) at 9:30 AM at Fort St. George in Chennai, marking a significant milestone in the state's democratic proceedings.




During this inaugural session, newly elected Members of the Legislative Assembly are taking their oaths of office in an orderly sequence. The ceremony is being conducted with traditional protocol, as legislators pledge to uphold the Constitution and serve their constituencies.




In a notable development from Coimbatore district, Kanimozhi Santhosh, who contested and won from the Kavundampalayam constituency on a Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) ticket, officially took her oath as a Member of the Legislative Assembly today. Her swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of her legislative responsibilities representing the people of Kavundampalayam.
