AIADMK Candidate S.P. Velumani Files Nomination in Thondamuthur

AIADMK candidate S.P. Velumani filed his nomination for Thondamuthur constituency today, accompanied by former BJP leader K. Annamalai and alliance executives at Perur Taluk Office, followed by intensive campaigning in the constituency.


Coimbatore: AIADMK candidate for Thondamuthur constituency, S.P. Velumani, filed his nomination papers today in the presence of former BJP state president K. Annamalai and other alliance executives, marking the official beginning of his electoral campaign.





Earlier in the day, Velumani arrived at the Perur Taluk Office in a massive procession surrounded by enthusiastic party workers and supporters. The candidate received a rousing welcome from cadres who had gathered in large numbers to show their support for the senior AIADMK leader.





The nomination filing witnessed the presence of key alliance partners, signaling the united front of the AIADMK-BJP coalition in the constituency. The participation of K. Annamalai, despite being a former BJP leader, underscored the significance of alliance coordination in the upcoming elections.





Following the submission of his nomination papers, Velumani wasted no time in launching an aggressive door-to-door campaign in his constituency. The veteran politician, setting his sights firmly on victory, began intensive canvassing to connect with voters across Thondamuthur.

The Thondamuthur constituency has been a politically significant seat in Coimbatore district, and Velumani's candidature has generated considerable interest among political observers. His campaign strategy focuses on direct voter engagement and highlighting the AIADMK's developmental agenda for the region.
