AJK Turf Ten5 Hosts Exciting Five-a-Side Football Tournament in Coimbatore

AJK Turf Ten5 organized an open men's five-a-side football tournament on August 11, 2024, in Coimbatore. Over 30 teams from across the country participated in this thrilling knockout competition.


Coimbatore: The AJK Turf Ten5 modern football ground in Navakarai, located on the Coimbatore-Palakkad Highway, hosted an exciting open men's five-a-side football tournament on August 11, 2024. The event, organized by AJK Turf Ten5, saw participation from more than 30 teams from across the country.



The tournament, conducted in a knockout format, featured matches throughout the day and night. Spectators were treated to an exhilarating display of football skills as players skillfully maneuvered the ball towards their goals. The competitive spirit and high-quality gameplay kept the audience thoroughly entertained throughout the event.

In the final standings, the Ayodhya Football Team emerged victorious with 5 points, clinching the first place. The Friends Football Team secured the second position with 1 point. The AJK Strikers Football Team claimed the third spot with 3 points, while the Nehru Arts and Science College team finished fourth with 2 points.

The winners were rewarded with trophies and cash prizes. The Ayodhya Football Team received a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 for their first-place finish. The Friends Football Team was awarded Rs. 7,000 and a trophy for their second-place performance. The AJK Strikers Football Team took home Rs. 5,000 and a trophy for securing the third position. The Nehru Arts and Science College team was presented with a trophy for their fourth-place finish.

Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Deputy Principal of AJK Arts and Science College, presided over the prize distribution ceremony. He handed out the cash prizes and trophies to the winning teams, congratulating them on their impressive performances and wishing them continued success in their future endeavors.
