On the orders of the Corporation Commissioner, M Prathap, Corporation officials removed the hoardings that were placed in a building without prior permission in the Kurichi division area on Pollachi Main Road under Ward No. 94 of Coimbatore Corporation. Offenders are to be penalised as per the law and a case will be initiated against them if they violate the law.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore: Corporation authorities have imposed a fine of Rs.5,000 on the owners of a company that put up its hoarding without permission in a building in the Kurichi section of Pollachi Main Road under Ward No. 94 of the Coimbatore Corporation.
On the orders of the Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Prathap, officials led by the Assistant Town Planning Officer, Sathya removed the illegal advertisement banner. Subsequently, the official also imposed a fine of Rs. 5000 on the owner who put up the advertising banner without proper permission.

The CCMC Commissioner has also demanded that hoardings put up in Coimbatore Corporation limits should be removed immediately. He also warned that offenders will be penalised as per the law and a case will be initiated against them, if they continue to violate the law.
