Unidentified persons broke into his house, opened the cupboard in the room, and looted 10 sovereigns of gold jewelry including a chain, a ring, earrings, gold coins, and Rs 15,000 cash. Gopinath, who returned home after work in the evening, was shocked to find the door broken open.
When he went inside the house, he found that the jewelry and money in the cupboard had been looted. Gopinath then lodged a complaint with the Madukkarai police.
The police rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation. Fingerprint experts were also called to the scene. They recorded the fingerprints of the robbers who looted the house. Madukkarai police have registered a case against the unidentified persons who robbed the I.T. employee’s house and are vigilantly searching for the culprits.
