Salem Railway Division to Hold Digital Life Certificate Camps for Pensioners in November

Coimbatore: The Salem Division of Southern Railway will conduct the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 5.0 from November 1 to 30, 2026, to promote digital empowerment among pensioners.

The campaign is part of a nationwide initiative by the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare, with the Ministry of Railways collaborating to facilitate the submission of Digital Life Certificates by railway pensioners through mega camps and other convenient locations with a large pensioner population across the country.

The Salem Division will organise the campaign at various locations across its jurisdiction, enabling pensioners and family pensioners to submit their life certificates digitally through the online 'Jeevan Pramaan Portal' during November.

In addition to the camps, an exclusive facility will be available at the Pass Section, Divisional Office, Salem, on all working days throughout November. The facility will function from 10 am to 5 pm to help pensioners complete the digital submission process conveniently.

All railway pensioners and family pensioners have been requested to make use of the campaign and submit their Digital Life Certificates during the stipulated period.
