TNSTC to Operate 120 Extra Buses from Coimbatore for Ayudha Pooja Holiday

Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) will operate 120 special government buses from Coimbatore between October 16 and 18 to manage the expected passenger rush ahead of Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadashami.

The special services will connect Coimbatore with major destinations including Chennai, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem and other places.

As people working in Coimbatore prepare to travel to their hometowns to celebrate the festive season with their families, bus terminals in the city are likely to witness heavy crowds over these days.

The additional buses have been planned specifically to ease congestion at the terminals and ensure smoother travel for passengers during the holiday period.
