Coming down heavily on the State Government for mentioning the name of the victim of Pollachi rape scandal in a Government Order, Opposition Leader and DMK President M.K. Stalin has questioned the intention of the State Government.
Taking the issue to twitter today, Stalin has claimed that the State Government has not listened to the strict orders of the Supreme Court.
“SC has clearly stated that the name of the victim should not be revealed at all times, but the State has violated it,” he said.
He has further questioned the State Government intention’s in releasing the victim’s name as it would scare other victims to not come out with complaints.
“This is the drama of the State Government to save the culprits,” he said.
It maybe noted that four people including Sabarirajan (25), Thirunavukarasu (25), Sathish (28) and Vasanthkumar (27) have been booked under Goondas act relating to the case.
