Coimbatore : The unveiling of the portrait of Jayalalithaa, former Chief Minister in Tamilnadu Assembly is something to be proud of and we are proud that the portrait is unveiled by Speaker Dhanapal who hails from the Dalit communities said Thangamani, TN Electricity minister.

Jointly briefing the media along with ministers SP Velumani, and RB Udayakumar in the city, Thangamani criticized TTV Dinarkaran for his observation that national BJP leaders were not invited to the event. “If we had done so, he would have criticized us for playing second fiddle to the BJP leaders, “Thangamani said.

SP Velumani said and alleged that TTV Dinakaran has won the RK Nagar by-poll by distributing money to voters. “He is buying his supporters with money and scored a “hawala” victory in the by-poll” he said and added that Thanga Tamilselvan has no local standi to criticize us after turning supporter of TTV Dinakaran, even though we wanted him to become a minister

Minister RB Udayakumar while countering the statement of Tamilisai Soundarrarjan about Andal’s legacy said that “This is not Andal’s mann (soil) but Tamil’s soil”

While debunking TTV Dinakaran as a political novice “TTV Dinakaran has no party, no flag and no followers and no policy what so ever".
