Glass damaged as tree branch falls on a government bus at the Coimbatore Gandhipuram bus stand

When the branch of the Naaval tree at the bus stand broke and fell on the bus, the front windshield of the bus was damaged. Any untoward accident was avoided as there were no passengers at the scene.


Coimbatore: Many buses ply from the Coimbatore Gandhipuram local bus stand. Today, the route 96 state government bus from Coimbatore to Walayar was set to depart from the Gandhipuram bus stand.

Then, a branch of the Naaval tree at the bus stand broke off and fell on the bus. In this, the front windshield of the bus was damaged. At the scene, fortunately none of the public and passengers were there avoiding any catastrophe.

Subsequently, the fallen tree branches were removed by the corporation employees. Later, the bus departed from there. Unexpectedly, there was a commotion for some time due to the incident where a tree branch fell on the bus.
