City Commissioner of Police orders arrest of 3 persons involved in burglary in Tirupur

In Tirupur, the City Commissioner of Police has ordered the jailing of 3 persons who were involved in extortion by brandishing knives.


Tirupur: Arunkumar, Praveen and Ramer have already been arrested for allegedly snatching a cellphone from Subramanian on April 27 on his way to Vigneswara Nagar from the Nochipalayam pirivu of the Tirupur Corporation.

In this context, the Coimbatore Central Jail has been ordered to remand the three persons in custody under the Gangs Act following the order of the City Commissioner of Police, AG Babu, to imprison all the three persons who had acted in a manner that disturbed the public order as various cases were already pending against them in the police stations.
