Wild elephant walking majestically on the road to Coimbatore Poondi Hill

A government bus traveling from Coimbatore Gandhipuram to Poondi Hill was on its way to Poondi when a wild elephant with large tusks was seen walking towards the bus on the road.

Coimbatore: Wild elephants, which search for water during summers, usually cross the roads leading to the Poondi Hills in Coimbatore.

As a result, devotees were not allowed to climb Velliangiri Hill as soon as the summer season started.

However, at the request of the local devotees, permission was granted to return to the hill with some restrictions.

In this case, a government bus going from Coimbatore Gandhipuram to Boondi hill two days ago, a wild elephant with large tusks walking towards the bus on the road near Poondi.

The driver then stopped the bus and took the vehicle from behind. A passenger on the bus filmed the wild elephant walking majestically. Thus, motorists going to the Poondi Vellingiri temple are advised to be very careful.

That video is currently being shared virally on the social website.
