Upon investigation it was revealed that the student was an 18-year-old female student from Tiruvottiyur and was a first year student at a medical college in Chennai.
Coimbatore: The Kattoor police were on patrol at the Coimbatore Gandhipuram bus stand last night. Then there was a young woman wandering around suspiciously.
Seeing this, the police arrested the girl and conducted an investigation. At the investigation, the teenager said she left home because her parents reprimanded her.
Shocked, the police took her to the police station and continued the investigation. It was then revealed that the student was an 18-year-old student from Tiruvottiyur and was a first year student at a medical college in Chennai.
Following this, the police informed the father of the student. Following this, the father had come to Coimbatore. The student was then counseled and handed over safely to the father by the police.
