Coimbatore: Coimbatore’s entire public road infrastructure was in disarray for the last 5 years and nothing was done to get it ready by the previous regime.



Now after the local body elections finished, roads are being relaid at a rapid pace across many wards along with the completion of all flyover work in Coimbatore.



Reconstruction of 2.96 km of tarred road under TNSUDP, Tamil Nadu Sustainable Urban Development Program (TNSUDP) from Coimbatore Corporation East Zone, Ward No.22 and 24-under Water-Bandal Road - Maheshwari Nagar Junction to Vilankurichi Bridge (TNSUDP).



Similarly, construction work of Urban Primary Health Center (UHWC) is underway in Ganapathy Nagar, Northern Zone of the Corporation.



Similarly, work is underway to construct a tarred road under the Special Road Project in the Blissful City area under Ward No.1 of the Corporation North Zone.
