Congress workers muzzle their mouths with white cloth to protest in Tirupur against Perarivalan's release

The Congress workers are protesting against the release of Perarivalan who was arrested in connection with the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.


Tiruppur: Congress workers in Tirupur staged a protest against the release of Perarivalan who had been arrested and jailed for 31 years in connection with the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.



Tirupur District Congress party workers protested at the statue of Tirupur Kumaran, against Perarivalan's release by muzzling their mouths with a white cloth.

Over 50 people took part in the protest which was led by District leaders. Similarly, in Palladam and Tarapuram in the district, Congress workers engaged in silent demonstrations against Perarivalan's release.
