A petition was filed on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Farmers' Protection Association on December 8 against the inclusion of Elachipalayam Prabhakaran, Madhapur Jayakumar, Kaniyur Panchayat President Unjapalayam Velusamy and Ananthakumar in the rowdy list.
To date no name has been removed from the list of rowdies as the police who received the petition have assured that they will consider it.
