Rise in yarn prices: Protest on behalf of the Communist Party of India by pretending to hang themselves!

A demonstration on behalf of the Communist Party of India to garner attention involved themselves trying to hang themselves by using a black belt, demanding the control of the rise in yarn prices.

Tirupur: In the last few months, the price of yarn has been rising sharply to 40 rupees at the beginning of this month and now it is selling at 470 rupees.

The Central Government should immediately take note of this and ban the export of cotton and yarn in case the knitwear production and allied companies face great difficulty.

They demanded the tax on yarn imports to be abolished. A general strike is being held in Tirupur yesterday and today on behalf of trade unions and unions, emphasizing various demands including the need to bring cotton and yarn to the essential list.

In support of this strike and urging the immediate fulfillment of the demands of the central government trade unions, the Tirupur Kumaran Memorial previously wore a black belt on behalf of the Communist Party of India, as if to hang a picture depicting a situation in which the entire knitting industry in Tirupur would be suicidal if the yarn price rose similarly.
