Police have seized 13 kg of Gutka items and arrested the person who was in possession of Gutka items.
Coimbatore: Prohibited Gutka items have been confiscated in Pollachi, Coimbatore and one person has been arrested.
East police station police were on surveillance on the Pollachi Market Road. A search of a two-wheeler in front of the Murugalaya Theater on Market Road turned up a 13-kg bag of Gutka.
Following this, the police seized 13-kg of Gutka items and arrested Selvaraj from Kunchipalayam area who was in possession of Gutka items.
