In the area under Coimbatore Corporation Ward 26, on the advice of Councilor Chitra Velliangiri, sewerage work and roadside cleaning work has been carried out well.



Coimbatore: A consultative meeting was held at the Coimbatore Corporation Ward 26 cleaning staff office on Friday under the chairmanship of council member Chitra Velliangiri.



During the last two days, grass and vines were cut in the Avinashi Road area under the ward and roadside cleaning was carried out. So the staff did not go into the streets.



Therefore, it was requested that the work of buying garbage in the houses today and the work of filling the sewers should be carried out expeditiously.



During the consultation meeting, the people of the area asked for sewerage in the area where there is no sewerage in Ward No. 26 PKD Nagar. Councilor Chitra Velliangiri assured that it would be immediately brought to the notice of the Mayor of Coimbatore, the Commissioner of Coimbatore, the Chairman of the Northern Region and officials.



At the request of the councilor, North Zone Assistant Commissioner Moganasundari took up the need to clean up and the need to clean up the sewers in 1st, 2nd and 3rd Pattalamman Temple Roads in Nehru Nagar and promised immediate action.



Following this, the work of clearing the sewers and cutting down small bushes was carried out in Sri Ram Nagar area this morning.
