Tirupur Railway Police have handed over the accused who escaped from Kerala by train to the Kerala Police.
Tirupur: Shenoy hails from Palakkad, Kerala. On the 6th of last month, Shinai attacked his wife due to a disagreement with his wife. His wife was admitted to the government hospital in Palakkad with serious injuries.
Following this, the Kerala State and Kuzhalmannam police arrested Shina and lodged her in a Kerala jail. Meanwhile, Shenoy, who escaped from custody this afternoon, boarded a train from Kerala to Bangalore while at the railway station in Palakkad.
Kuzhalmannam police from the state of Kerala sent a photo of Shenoy to the Tirupur Railway Police and informed them. Meanwhile, the Tirupur Railway Police arrested Shenoy and informed the Kerala State Police when they came to know that Shenoy was in an unreserved carriage when the train arrived at the Tirupur railway station. Following this, the Kerala State Police who came to Tirupur arrested Shenoy and took him to Kerala.
