Youth found dead hit by a train – Railway police investigate

After the passers-by informed the Podanur Railway Police, they rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased youth and sent it to the Government Hospital for autopsy.



Coimbatore: An unidentified youth was hit and killed by a train on the Coimbatore-Podanur-Madukkarai railway track. This incident has caused a great stir in the area.

After the passers-by informed the Podanur Railway Police, they rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased youth and sent it to the Government Hospital for autopsy.

Following this, the police said that the young man who died was about 25 years old and was wearing a red T-shirt. In this regard, the Pothanur Railway Police have registered a case and are investigating the identity and cause of death of the youngster.
