Kodanad murder and robbery case - IG Sudhakar-led police re-investigate Saiyan

So far 10 people including Saiyan and Valayaru Manoj have been arrested in connection with the Kodanad murder and robbery case. The case has been under investigation by IG Sudhakar since last August.


For the first time in this re-trial, Sasikala, Jayalalithaa's aide Poonkunran, former MLA Aarukutty, Sajeevan, and his brothers, were interrogated and their statements were taken. Saiyan, who was arrested based on this case, is currently out on bail, and is being interrogated for the second time by the police crew led by IG Sudhakar.

He was already being held in Kotagiri and interrogated by the police. There, his statement was taken in written form. Considering these circumstances, he is being detained for further interrogation at the Coimbatore Police Training School.
