Earlier, the event was welcomed by former BJP Ukkadam regional leader Sehgar. The event was held in the presence of Surabi Jewelers Karthik. Maratha Bhavan President Lakshman Tukaram Patil graced the occasion as the special guest.

The event was held on behalf of the Coimbatore People's Service Center, PSG, Hospital and the World Malayalee Society at the Free Medical Camp titled 'Nalam' at the Government Girls 'High School, Textile Merchants' Association, near Thermutti Stadium, Raja Veedhi.
Doctors provided advice on a variety of ailments such as general medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, dermatology, intestinal surgery, ophthalmology, and cataract surgery, and provided medicines to those in need.
