Industry associations from City meet Union Ministers in Delhi; discuss on rising raw material price hike issue

TheIndustry big heads from Coimbatore on Tuesday, will meet the Union Ministers including the MSMe Minister, Minister of Steel and Minister of Commerce, on the increasing raw material price hike and the issues faced by the small and micro enterprises


Coimbatore: The Industry Association heads to meet the Union Ministers at Delhi to discuss on raw material price hike. The CODISSIA president Ramesh Babu was one among them.



Due to continuous and drastic increase in prices of all raw materials and other allied materials,MSME industries have been suffering and will cease to exist, if necessary corrective action is not directed immediately by the Government of India. The exorbitant increase in raw material prices leadsto cancellation of orders for MSMEs, uncertainty of consumption in the market, declining of exportsand also closure of units etc.

All Associations have been individually as well as collectively approachingNarayan TatuRane,Union Minister of MSME,Ram Chandra Prasad Singh,Minister of SteelandPiyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India,through Representations and letters.

The industrialists after along wait got the opportunity to meet the Ministers in person and about 9 Association Heads from Coimbatore includingCODISSIA are proceeding to Delhi today, 26th April for the meeting and to represent the Raw Material issues tothem personally.
