Karuppasamy (61) hails from the Puliyakulam area of Coimbatore. He is a retired cleaner on the PRS campus. His son Suresh is working as a painter. Also, he is married to Suresh and lives with his mother and wife in Singanallur area.
It is learned that Karuppasamy had been living with a woman named Vimala for the last few months. In this situation, he has given the entire pension money of Karuppasamy to Vimala. Thus, there has been frequent conflict between Karuppasamy and Suresh.
In this case, it seems that Vimala was lying on the doorstep after drinking alcohol at the Karuppasamy Tasmag store last night. Then, Suresh came there and took Karuppasamy to a nearby temple and asked about the pension money. Then, after another altercation, Suresh stabbed Karuppasamy and disappeared.
Karuppasamy who was in a pool of blood died on the spot. Ramanathapuram police have registered a case and are searching for the missing Suresh.
