Additional 24-hour water pipeline laid at Ward 87 in Coimbatore; Locals thank Deputy Mayor

The additional pipeline was laid keeping in mind the growing population at Ward No. 87, Gandhinagar, in Coimbatore.

Coimbatore: Keeping in mind the growing population at Ward No. 87, Gandhinagar, in Coimbatore, an additional water pipeline to supply Siruvani water around the clock was laid. Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan opened the pipe for public usage on Friday at an inaugural function.

Drinking water is supplied through 24x7 Siruvani water in Coimbatore through common water pipelines at various places. Since residents at Ward No. 87, Gandhi Nagar had only one such pipeline, the water supply was not adequate for the growing population in the area. Locals had been demanding an additional pipeline for a long time.

With the efforts of Ward No. 87 Councillor, Babu, an additional water pipeline has now been laid in the area.

Coimbatore Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan inaugurated the water pipeline leaving residents in the area overjoyed. The residents thanked Councillor Babu and other Councillors.

Ward No.88 Councillor, Senthil Kumar and residents of the area participated in the inaugural function.
