Health Minister M Subramaniam inaugurates Hemophilia Day programs at Coimbatore GH; foundation stone laid for addition hospital buildings at Valparai and Udumalai

The Health Minister of Tamil Nadu, M Subramanian inaugurated the programs organized at the government hospital for raising awareness on Hemophilia, for Hemophilia day and he also laid foundation stones for the additional buildings to be constructed at the government hospitals in Valparai, Udumalpet, Gopichettipalayam regions.

The Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Ma Subramaniam inaugurated the Hemophilia Day celebrations at the Government Hospital in Coimbatore. He placed the foundation stone for the new Additional Government Hospital buildings at Valparai, Udumalpet and Gobichettipalayam.



Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Minister M Subramaniam said that a medical seats in India has been filled a 100 percent, and it is the Central government that has to fill 812 vacant seats. With the time limit for application ending, the centre did not fill 24 seats

The Cheif Minister has written to the union government officials to soon fill the vacancies and the Health Secretary, Radhakrishnan has also urged for the same. The centre has clarified that it has said that it will take steps to fill up 300 seats across the country.Adding that AIADMK coordinator OPS should not worry about the issue, Ma Subramaniam mentioned that the state is not completely free of Covid, and there are 7 virus strains still pending in India.



"However, there has been no death in the last 21-day due to the action taken by the government. In Tamil Nadu, 92.38 per cent have been administered their first dose of the vaccine while 77.28 per cent have received their second."

Accordingly, 88% of the people developed immunity. As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, the Government of Tamil Nadu owns a genetically modified laboratory in the country. In view of the rising number of covid cases in other countries and states including Delhi, people should adhere to covid restrictions and continue with preventive measures in view of the fact that people are not exempted from wearing masks in places where people gather in public places, stated the Minister

"There was a discrepancy in the supply of kits under the Muthulakshmi Reddy scheme in the previous government and we have constituted a committee to examine it and necessary steps will be taken to provide it district-wise to those left out."

Under the Illam Thedi Maruthuvam, 355 blocks have benefited so far in the state and 159 vehicles are in use. He then stated that it is the central government that has directed administring the booster doses at private hospitals. However, permission has been sought for the frontline workers to administer boosters free of cost to others voluntarily from the Central government.
