Coimbatore: Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF) has said, timely intervention of policy decisions like exemption given to custom duty on cotton will help entire textile manufacturing eco-system.

Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF), Convenor, Prabhu dhamodharan said, "In today’s dynamic and volatile, business & trade environment, timely intervention of policy decisions are crucial to the changing needs.

Our Union Government and Textile /Finance ministries acted on time with dynamism and removed import duty for cotton. This move will help the entire textile manufacturing eco-system, support the overall balance sheet of cotton and also reduce the speculative trade."
