MLA Pollachi Jayaraman inspects rain hit zones in Devarayapuram in Coimbatore

Pollachi MLA Pollachi Jayaraman visited the rain-affected Devarayapuram area on Thursday, 14th April, visited the damaged areas, and spoke with the victims, assuring them of necessary assistance.


Coimbatore: MLA Pollachi Jayaraman inspected the rain damaged areas in Devarayapuram on Thursday.

Sudden rain accompanied with thunderstorms in Coimbatore district affected certain areas in the city. Houses were damaged as coconut trees fell on the houses in Devarayapuram area near Kinathukadavu on Tuesday. Pollachi MLA Pollachi Jayaraman visited the rain-affected Devarayapuram on Thursday, 14th April. He visited the damaged areas and consoled the victims.

He also directed the officials to restore the power supply as the power supply in the area has been cut off for the last three days. Pollachi Jayaraman told the affected people that steps would be taken to provide relief to the damaged areas.
