One has to sell their properties to pay property tax - Coimbatore BJP protests against TN government

DMK "Kolusu" party; In Coimbatore, senior BJP leader CP Radhakrishnan lamented that the ‘Rising Sun’ symbol could be turned into a "Kolusu" symbol.

Coimbatore: Protests against the Tamilnadu government’s property tax hike are taking place in various parts of Tamil Nadu today.

As part of this, a protest demonstration on behalf of the BJP was held in Gandhi Park area of Coimbatore.

Led by former MP CP Radhakrishnan, the rally was attended by more than a hundred BJP volunteers who chanted slogans carrying the slogan "Property tax hike should be withdrawn and property tax hike should be canceled".

Speaking to reporters during the demonstration, BJP senior leader CP Radhakrishnan said, "DMK came to power saying they’ll do what they promised. But here they’re doing even what did not say. The hike is so high that people have to sell their property to pay property taxes"

When the AIADMK asked the Central Government for what Tamil Nadu needed, the DMK called them slaves of Delhi. He said that at present DMK is placing all the blame on Delhi for.

DMK was the party which claimed that Kamarajar had an account in a Swiss bank. He lamented that this was the last victory of the DMK and that they could change the name of the DMK party to 'Kolusu Party' and their Riding Sun symbol to Kolusu.

If the DMK government blames the central government for raising the property tax, he asked to show the relevant documents. DMK is confident of Balakrishnan, Thirumavalavan and Vaiko as loyal side instruments.

Asked about the hike in petrol prices, he said that it was the central government that had reduced petrol and diesel prices without making election promises. He said the DMK had not done what the government had said and that the central government was in a situation where it was raising petrol prices with pain.

He also said that petrol prices will come down when crude oil comes to India from Russia. Of the war environment We want to make it clear that prices are volatile."
