Unidentified man found unconscious on the roof of a bus shelter in Ettimadai, Coimbatore dies in hospital

The unidentified man, who is being treated at the Coimbatore Government Hospital, succumbed to his injuries this morning. The cause of death is said to be heavy drinking and poor diet.


Coimbatore: A 50-year-old man was found unconscious on the roof of a bus shelter on Palakkad Road in Coimbatore yesterday. Following this, the public rescued him by 108 ambulance and sent him to the Coimbatore Government Hospital.



The unidentified man, who was being treated at the Coimbatore Government Hospital, died this morning. The cause of death is said to be heavy drinking and poor diet.

However, based on the complaint lodged by the Ettimadai village administration officer, the KG Chavadi police registered a case and are investigating.
