Ward 94 Councillor in Coimbatore assures drinking water supply once every 10 days

The Ward 94 Councillor and Coimbatore South Zone President, Dhanalakshmi has assured that measures are being taken to provide solutions for three major issues raised by the locals.

Coimbatore: The Ward 94 Councillor and Coimbatore South Zone President, Dhanalakshmi has assured residents in the Ward that they would be provided with drinking water supply once every 10 days.

"In today's scenario, water supply is the biggest challenge. There have been a series of complaints about water scarcity in Coimbatore Corporation during the summer season, especially since there has been no equal distribution of drinking water supply among the different Wards. The three main demands put forward by the locals are for drinking water, repair of roads, and underground sewage, but the major issue has been a scarcity of water," stated Dhanalakshmi.

She added that the only complaint she gets from locals during inspections is that there is inadequate water supply. Hence, after consulting with the Assistant Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation on drinking water supply in the city, Councillor Dhanalakshmi assured residents that she would take necessary steps to supply water once in 10 days and that roads would be repaired once the underground sewage works are completed.
