Apartment Residents Association office-bearers meet Lakshmi Karthik in Coimbatore for construction of new quarters in Sowripalayam

The admins of the Apartments Residents' Association in Ward 52, Sowripalayam Hudco Apartments built under the Tamil Nadu Housing Board met the East Zone Head, Lakshmi Karthik with regard to the demolition and reconstruction of the dilapidated apartments.


Coimbatore: The office bearers of the Apartments Residents' Association in Ward 52, Sowripalayam Hudco Apartments built under the Tamil Nadu Housing Board met the East Zone Head, Lakshmi Ilanselvi Karthik with regard to the demolition and reconstruction of the dilapidated apartments.

With regard to a total of 528 apartments that are in dilapidated condition, the Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Minister S Muthusamy had already inspected the building conditions following the residents' continued insistence. It was decided that the dilapidated buildings will be demolished and new apartments would be constructed after the inspection.

The office-bearers of the Sowripalayam Apartment Owners and Residents' Association had also requested Tamil Nadu Electricity, Prohibition and Excise Minister Senthil Balaji in this regard.



They also met Lakshmi, President of the Coimbatore Corporation East Zone and enquired about the construction of the new apartments.



She assured steps would be taken to overcome the challenges and do the needful for construction of new apartments.
