CODISSIA signs MoU with Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation

The CODISSIA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited, TIIC for providing financial assistance to CDIIC technology based incubatees/start up units


Coimbatore: The CODISSIA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited, TIIC.

On behalf of CODISSIA Defence Innovation and Atal Incubation Centre (CDIIC), the firstDefence Innovation Hub (CDIIC-DIH), M.V. Ramesh Babu, President, CODISSIA andDirector, CDIIC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tamil Nadu IndustrialInvestment Corporation Limited (TIIC), represented by its Chairman and Managing Director Hans Raj Verma IAS at Chennai on 31st March.

This memorandum is for the purpose of providing financial assistance to CDIIC technology based incubatees/start up units, who work with dual applications (both Defence and Commercial) and CHIC-DISH supported start ups/MSMEs for defence productindigenization.

Apart from signing MoU with CDIIC-DIH, TIIC has also signed other 2 MoUs, one each withBharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC)for reconfiguring the MSMEs/ Startups to Defence Manufacturing.
