The awareness drive was held in Podanur and Ramanathapuram police station limits. The youth and public from Kakkan Nagar, MGR Nagar, and other areas near Vellalore apartment areas were educated about the problems arising out of these anti-social activities and the future conditions of the youth.
They also urged the youth who have discontinued their education to continue their studies and said that the police were ready to provide necessary assistance. Podanur Inspector Natesan, Sub-Inspector Thamarai Kannan, and others participated in the awareness program which was presided over by Podanur Range Assistant Commissioner Satheesh Kumar.
