Jamaat-e-Islami Hind launches free mobile medical service in Coimbatore

The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has launched a free mobile medical service in the city, to help the poor and needy located in the backward areas of Coimbatore, which the District Collector Dr GS Sameeran IAS flagged off.


Coimbatore: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has launched a free mobile clinic in Coimbatore. The District Collector GS Sameeran inaugurated the service.

The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has launched a free mobile medical service in Coimbatore. Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has been serving in various fields such as education, medicine, women's development, disaster relief, economy, etc. for the betterment of the community and people in India for more than 70 years.

A 'Mobile Clinic' initiative was launched on Sunday, 27th March, at 5 pm at PVG Mahal on Podanur Road to provide medical services to the poor and needy living in the backward areas of Coimbatore. Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Coimbatore District President P.S. Umar Farooq delivered the inaugural address. He highlighted the need for mobile free medical services to be implemented along with various service services being undertaken by Jamaat-e-Islami in Coimbatore. Coimbatore Corporation Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan delivered the felicitation address.

Maulvi Muhammad Haneefa Manbei, State President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, in his address said that engaging in social service will bring lasting benefits and through service one can gain the affection of God.



Coimbatore District Collector Dr G.S. Sameeran, handed over the vehicle's key to Maulvi Muhammad Haneefa Manbei, and appreciated Jamaat-e-Islami for their unprecedented contribution to serve people, social development and infrastructure.



He also said that there is a need to maintain social harmony for the development of Coimbatore and all sections of the people should join hands for social services.

A memento was offered to the special guests who attended the event. Muhammad Haneefa Manbeei, P.S. Umar Farooq were felicitated.
