The jewellery handing over ceremony by waiving off the jewellery loans taken from the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Banks at Neripperichal in Tirupur was held on Thursday, 24th March and the Mayor added that the Chief Minister has kept his promise.

A function was held to hand over the jewellery, by waiving off the jewellery loans taken from the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Banks at Neriperichal in Tirupur
Mayor Dinesh Kumar presided over the function. Addressing there he stated that, the former Chief Minister and DMK Chief, M Karunanidhi, whose motto was 'Do what is said and say what you can do' (Solvadhai seivom, seivadhai solvom), has been proved right by the Chief Minister MK Stalin, who has kept his word to waive off the jewellery loans taken by poor women,in his election promises to provide good governance in line with Muthamizh Arignar.
"We have waived off the jewellery loans taken from the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Banks at Neripperichal and returned the jewellery and issued discount certificates." Deputy Mayor Balasubramaniyam, government officials, office bearers of co-operative societies, and many other members of the corporation participated in the function.
