The Coimbatore Mayor, Kalpana Anandkumar inaugurated the special cleaning works at Coimbatore Corporation North Zone Ward No.19 areas including Maniyakarampalayam, Balamurugan Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Amman Nagar, MKP Colony, Amman Nagar Park and Ashok Nagar Park.
The Mayor, after inauguration stated that the parks in Maniyakarampalayam, Balamurugan Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Amman Nagar be renovated and hand over to the interested residents’ association for maintanence and directed the assistant engineers to supply drinking water regularly. She also instructed the engineers and the health inspectors that the vegetations on road sides, accumulated garbage, stagnant vegetation blocking the rain water drain be cleared. She also instructed to dispose the garbage collected in the special cleaning process immediately.
Vairamurugan, alias Murugan 31st ward council member Assistant Commissioner, North Zone Mohanasundari, Assistant Executive Engineer, Senthil Bhaskar, Assistant Town Planning Officer (E), Vimala, Assistant Engineer Elangovan, Regional Health Officer Radhakrishnan and corporation officials were present during the inspection.
