The Nilgiris District Collector Amrit offered 1000 saplings to the ESI Hospitals for taking good care of him while he was admitted to the hospital for Covid treatment.


Coimbatore: The Nilgiris District Collector has offered 1000 saplings to the ESI Hospitals for taking good care of him while he was admitted to the hospital for Covid treatment.

Amrit, the District Collector of Nilgiris district, his wife, and assistant were diagnosed with Covid two months ago and were treated at the ESI Hospital, Coimbatore.

The District Collector has offered 1000 saplings to the hospital to thanks the doctors and nurses for their excellent treatment.

The ceremony took place yesterday, 17th March, at the hospital premises. Dean Ravindran, Superintendent Ravi Kumar, Assistant Superintendent Tamil Selvan, professors and nurses participated.

Later, professors, students, and nurses from 17 departments took in charge of each sapling and committed to take care of the plants.
