The Coimbatore District Police Department has topped responding to the redressal of the emergency calls made by the public in the shortest span of time among the police departments in the state in the month of February 2022.
The Additional Director General of Police (ERSS/SPMCR) has sent a report in which the Coimbatore City Police was the quickest to reach the spot of emergency calls made by the public in cases of road accidents, crime. The City police rushed to the spot in 2.38 minutes followed by Chennai Police in 2.54 minutes and Karur police in 3.05 minutes.
Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Pradip Kumar congratulated the city police and motivated them on continuing to serve the public.
