City Mayor declares open renovated shelter home for the aged in Coimbatore

The Coimbatore District Mayor, Kalpana Annadakumar inaugurated the Urban Shelter for Homeless in Kempatty Colony here in Coimbatore, which was recently renovated by the BOSCH, at Rs.14 lakh expenses.


Coimbatore: The Mayor, Kalpana Anandakumar inaugurated the renovated old age home in Kempatty Colony in Coimbatore.

The private company, BOSCH, renovated the Shelter for Urban Homeless in Kempatty Colony, ward 80 in Central Zone, at Rs.14,00,000 expenses. The home shelters 25 old-age people.



The Coimbatore City Mayor, Kalpana Anandakumar inaugurated the shelter house, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan, Coimbatore District Collector Dr. GS Sameeran, CCMC Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara.



80th Ward Councillor, P. Marichelvan and representatives from BOSCH were present.
