Not a single day passes without one reference from the comedies of Actor Vadivelu, and there have been instances where these references replicate our real-life situations. His dialogue, ‘Ottaga Paal la tea podra’ has been a catchphrase since the movie, ‘Vetri Kodi Kattu’ released, and a tea stall here on Neelambur bypass serves tea made of what? Camel Milk’.

Manikandan has started a camel dairy on Neelambur bypass road next to Sulur in Coimbatore and sells camel dairy products. Manikandan’s tea stall is the talk of the town now and has caught the attention of many.



Apart from camels, horses, rabbits, ducks, and poultry are reared on his farm. Tea is sold directly by milking camels in the morning and evening. The public is charged an entry fee of Rs 20 to visit the farm.A cup of tea is sold for Rs 70 and a liter of milk for Rs 550.

Six camels were brought from the Kutch district of Gujarat. Manikandan said camels are being cared for effortlessly as they can live in all environments and camel and horse riding training is also being imparted. Speaking to SimpliCity, farm owner Manikandan said dairy products were produced and sold with camel milk and the public was permitted to visit the farm.
