Special Sub Inspector Chandran of Kinathukadavu police station who went to the spot, caught a man upon suspicion, searched the bag he was carrying and found cannabis in it. He was subsequently questioned and it was revealed that Ranjan Gada of Odisha was a labourer in the area and was selling ganja.
Police arrested Ranjan Gada and seized half-a-kilogram of ganja from him.
