The hearing of the sexual assault and abuse of college girls and women in Pollachi that startled the state is adjourned to the 11th of April by the TANPID Court Justice Ravi
Pollachi:The Pollachi sexual assault case hearing is adjourned to 11th April, 2022. The sexual assault and extortion incident that surfaced in 2019 startled not just TN but the country, due to the turn of events that followed one after another.
Nine persons have been booked by the Coimbatore Women's Court in connection with the rape and video harassment of a college student and some women in Pollachi in Coimbatore district. When the case came up for hearing yesterday, 25th February, the accused Thirunavukkarasu, 25, Sabarirajan, 25, Satish, 28, Vasanthakumar, 27, Manivanan, 28, Heran Paul, 29, Babu, 27, Arulanandam, 34, and Arun Kumar were produced in jail through video conferencing.
Since the women's court judge was on leave, the TANPID Court Judge Ravi (in charge) adjourned the case to Apr 11.
