The election campaign is scheduled to conclude on Thursday and the Pollachi police, along with the election security armed forces performed a parade. They urged the public to be present for voting without fear and create awareness to ensure 100 percent voter turnout.
ADSP Suhasini flagged off the rally which started in the Pollachi Mahalingapuram area.
The procession took place through major streets including Coimbatore Road, Central Bus Stand, and Bazaar in which more than 250 policemen participated.
“Voting is a democratic duty. We will ensure public safety, and we wish the public comes ahead and exercises their right”, stated the police officers.
