AIADMK has pawned the party to BJP; CM Stalin alleges during meet in Tirupur

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin who campaigned through video conferencing in Tirupur alleged that AIADMK has pawned off the party to BJP forgetting MGR, Jayalalitha, Arignar Anna.

Tirupur: Ahead of the local body elections, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin campaigned through video conferencing in Tirupur.

“AIADMK has forgotten its leaders, MGR and Jayalalitha, and has pawned their party to BJP”, stated the Chief Minister during his campaign at Tirupur for the urban local polls.

Chief Minister MK Stalin campaigned through video conferencing in Tirupur for which LED screens were installed at more than 100 places across the district, to telecast the campaign for the public.

Tirupur South MLA, K Selvaraj and candidates contesting in DMK alliance in the urban local body elections participated in the conference held at a private wedding hall on Union Road, Tirupur.

Reminiscing that Anna and Thanthai Periyar met at Tirupur, Stalin stated that it was Karunanidhi’s government that upgraded Tirupur to a municipal city. Similarly, the DMK government also raised the new district with Tirupur as its headquarters, he said.

The CM made a mention about that numerous completed schemes have been brought into use for the public, along with inaugurating new ventures, by laying the foundation stone at a government function last November. He added that work is in progress to announce various schemes for all the districts in TN while presenting the budget in March.

“I wrote to 50 people planning to set up an all India social justice structure, and DMK has been an indifferent government for all people in all the districts. After the state assembly elections are over in five states, there will be further work on it.”

He criticized that AIADMK debased the minorities for voicing out against, the Citizenship Amendment Act and mentioned that federalism was now in danger. He appreciated the farmers on their non-violent victory against the three Agri laws when PM Modi was stubborn and added that the DMK government passed a resolution against the Agri laws.

Mentioning his take on NEET in Tamil Nadu, he stated that the students of Tamil Nadu are ripped off their dreams and mentioned that the former CM Jayalalithaa, put a ban on NEET even before the court’s verdict. “Ex-CM Palaniswamy is a straight liar because he granted permission for NEET and is now denying it.”

Stalin also stated that the last regime had not mentioned anything about the cancellation of NEET Training Centres, which were announced during the last assembly elections He alleged that the opposition has ‘forgotten’ its leaders, MGR, Jayalalitha and has pawned off the party to BJP, losing Anna and the Dravidian nature. This is why, AIADMK has been voicing one nation, one bond.

He said that DMK wishes to build federal and state autonomy among the whole of India. Since the BJP came to power in 2014, the Tirupur hosiery sector has suffered severely due to economic misbehaviour. He said that many companies have stopped doing business due to GST.
