Coimbatore: Gutka sale is banned in Tamil Nadu. Special flying squads have been deployed to detect the sale of Gutka on the black market. A complaint arose that banned products like Gutka was being sold in the Kaliyapuram area near Anaimalai. Following this, the Flying Squad officers inspected the shop of Lincoln (30) from Kaliyapuram area and found about 8 kg of Gutka items. The officers who seized the Gutka items handed over the confiscated Gutka items to the Kottur police. In the meantime, Kottur police have filed a case and arrested Lincoln and are investigating.
