The Election officers who will be on duty for the urban local body election in Valparai underwent training at the Valparai Government College in which 264 members participated.
Valparai: Election officers in Valparai were trained at the Government College for urban municipal election in Valparai.
A training camp was held at Valparai Government Arts College for the returning officers as the date of urban elections was announced at Valparai. The training camp was attended by election officials under the chairmanship of Valparai Municipal Commissioner Suresh.
Officials are invited for election work from places like Anaimalai, Pollachi, next to the Valparai municipal limits.
A total of 264 election officers underwent training.
