Tirupur: Members of all trade unions gathered in front of the Tirupur Corporation Office and took a pledge against the Centre’s move to privatise the public sector.



They urged the Central Government to immediately repeal anti-labour laws.



The trade union members have announced a nationwide general strike on February 23 and 24, condemning the privatisation of public sectors and press for the immediate repeal of anti-labour laws.
